REVIEW : Power Gen Garza (David Zayas) in a country in South America are very sturdy. With the military power he had, Garza oppress its citizens once opposed the policies of other countries around him. After the death of an American citizen held hostage in the hands of Garza, the American government had no choice but to create a scenario for the overthrow of power Garza.

Lowered directly into the land forces was clearly not possible and the only way is to reduce the unofficial forces to stage a coup and liberate people from oppression in that country which has been running for over twenty years that. The problem is, these forces must be really tough because they will not get any help from any party.

Expectations are now dependent on Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone), the team leader of The Expendables. Together with Lee Christmas (Jason Statham), Tool (Mickey Rourke), Bao Thao (Jet Li), Gunnar Jensen (Dolph Lundgren), Hale Caesar (Terry Crews) and Toll Road (Randy Couture), Barney must successfully kill Garza and topple the regime ruling.

Unfortunately, this mission is not an easy mission. Besides will not get any help from the U.S. military, there is a CIA agent named Monroe (Eric Roberts) who apparently did not want the collapse of power Garza. Stuck in the middle of an unfortunate scenario, Barney and his team still desperate to go and as might be expected, this mission ended in disaster. The problem is, whether this disorder makes Barney surrender?

A little story above it is clear already familiar to fans of action movies. The same story also offered many films before, including THE LOSERS that we just enjoy. If the story could be called mediocre, then what EXPENDABLES The strength of this? The answer is clear the players. This is an all action movie stars! Unfortunately, it only offered films Sylvester Stallone besutan this.

Without casting sparkling like this, it could be THE EXPENDABLES will only end up like most action movies that made it straight on DVD. With a scenario that could be considered generic, plus the formation of character is lacking in this film is so pure treat for the eyes. Stallone was as if trying to provide a large portion of the same for all the stars even though Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis just goto the cameo role only.

About acting, this is Stallone's films but to be honest, who actually looks more radiant Statham followed by the character Lundgren, Jet Li, and Rourke. The rest was mediocre. But because this is an action movie, so it seems all the above considerations can be ruled out. During a lot of blood splattered, bombs exploding, corpses were lying, and the champ who beat each other, the audience must have been satisfied.
