Lady Gaga named most played artist on UK radio

We all love listening to Gaga on our radios and now the Lady herself has won an award for being the most played artist across UK airwaves in 2010!

The announcement was made at the PRS For Music Hall Of Fame dinner, held in Manchester last night.

After being named the most played artist of the year with her popular hits such as Bad Romance and Telephone, the folk over at Nielsen Soundscan had this to say about Gaga on the night:

“Lady Gaga has had phenomenal success during 2010, ratcheting up an enormous number of radio plays in the last year. With over 275,000 radio plays, she was clearly the front runner for this award.”
